What happened to the U.S.A.?

What happened to our country? Abe Lincoln was legendary for his honesty. Yet somehow our politicians have morphed into some of the most dishonest people on earth. Not only are they dishonest but, they seem to be lineing there own pockets with government contracts. Last time I checked getting elected didn't mean you won the lotto. What will happen to our country if we continue down this dangerous path?
Often I think of moveing to Canada. The canadiens seem to mind there own business and I feel I would fit better in that type of society. Another plus would be that my tax dollars wouldn't go to George Bush's latest whim. Don't get me wrong I'm very patriotic however I do not think this is what the founding fathers had in mind. I'm sick of Georgey trying to play world police cheif.

"I don't give a S+*$!" Do you?

I don't care what happens to the detainees at Guantonamo Bay so long as we get what we need from them. For those of you whine asses let me ask you this: If they had captured you do you think you would be treated fairly? My guess is you would be in for a beheading while there buddies taped it. Here you are sitting in your living room while someone who is fighting and risking there lives in a desert for YOU!!!!! And in return you want to charge them with a crime. Is it any wonder that military enrollment is down?
I feel as though we are to soft on prisoners in this country all the way around. Some foreign criminals have better living conditions in a U.S. prison than they would if they were free in there own country. These are people in need of punishment not babying.
Do you have an opinion about this? e-mail me at Sticky3030@yahoo.com

Keep your wolf on a leash!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOLF SHOT IN STERLING MAY HAVE BEEN CAPTIVE ANIMAL

The 99-pound canine shot by an upstate man last month has been identified as a wolf, but a pathologist says it probably was once in captivity.
John Yuhas awoke April 12th to find the wolf attacking and killing his dog in the town of Sterling, about 32 miles northwest of Syracuse. Wolves were thought to have been exterminated from the wilds of New York State a century ago.
After examining the carcass, state wildlife pathologist Ward Stone tells the Syracuse Post-Standard said it was a wolf, though DNA samples will be tested to confirm that. It also had heartworms and was a little chubby.
Says Stone, "It appears to have had recent experience with captivity." (Associated Press)
